Whale Extends Easi-Slide Exterior Utilities Sockets Range

Whale Extends Easi-Slide Exterior Utilities Sockets Range with New Mains Electric In Socket

Responding to market demand, Whale has extended its popular exterior utilities socket offering by adding a Mains Electric In Socket.

The new Mains Electric In Socket allows users to safely hook up 230V/16amp mains power to their caravan, motorhome or camper van while on site.

All nine sockets in the range incorporate the unique Whale Easi-Slide Lid with its streamlined design. The use of a sliding lid guarantees no more lid flapping noise or damage to your vehicle. Comfortable to use, the sockets provide a smooth easy slide open and close motion with a secure click feature to protect the internal parts when the socket is not in use. As well as being UV stabilised to prevent damage from the sun, all sockets are waterproof and rated to IP45 and IP55.

Mark Walmsley, RV Commercial Director for Whale, said, “We are really pleased with this new addition to the Easi-Slide range. It means we now have one of the widest range of utilities sockets in the industry. Manufacturers love the improvement to vehicle aesthetics, providing uniformity to exterior walls, and end users prefer the sliding lid instead of the more traditional hinged lid.”

Easi-Slide Lids are available in 2 different colour options – crisp white and soft grey.

By day I used to be a self employed website developer running my company www.designconscious.co.uk but now I have flipped my career on it’s head and I have retrained as a caravan engineer servicing caravans and motorhomes. I can be found at Telford Caravan Services  I am also the author of Make Camp. I along with my family love caravanning and time willing we go as much as we can. I have two teenage children so their hobbies and social life take precedence but when we can we are off in our Land Rover Discovery to ‘make camp’ in our Swift Coastline Esprit.
